NX CAM Turning Enhancement for NX 11
You probably know that NX 11.0.2 is the version where the major enhancements for CAM were released.
Some of the enhancements are not always related to the machining of the part but can still be very helpful in the visualization of your operations. Such is the case with this NX CAM turning tip.
In NX 9, Siemens incorporated the ability to show a different color of each tool or operation when doing a verify in Milling. The 10 colors can be set in the Manufacturing Preferences → Visualization Tab.
In NX11.0.2, this option now works for turning tools or operations. You only need to turn it on in your manufacturing preferences.
