Solid Edge Video problem

We are primarily NX users but we do have a couple seats of Solid Edge. I have a Solid Edge user who is having some really annoying video issues where menus disappear and the re-display of a faceted solid will take up to minutes to refresh. We haven't had similar problems with NX so I am not sure if this is an issue with video card settings or a Solid Edge setting. Anything to try would be appreciated
