Overview

  • As a key member of the sales team, engage with customers and prospects to understand customer needs, lead product and solution aspects of the sales process and in partnership with the sales representatives, obtain orders for new software and services.  
  • Interview customers to gather business and technical requirements, determine business needs, select appropriate suites of technology and develop proposals for customer PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) process improvement.  
  • Utilizing advanced knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices and competitive differentiation, prepare and deliver strategic demonstration of PLM software products (NX and Teamcenter) and solution to customers in support of selling efforts.  
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain expert knowledge of PLM software modules and functionality.  
  • Provide guidance to and mentor customers, sales reps, services and other presales personnel on capabilities and business value of PLM products and solutions.  
  • Answer questions on capabilities and usage and solve sales and customer problems.  
  • Communicate industry and solution requirements to product development.  
  • Occasionally provide professional services after the sale, including installation support, customer training and mentoring.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years CAD (prefer Solid Works, NX or CATIA V5) experience required.
  • 3+ years Engineering or Manufacturing background required.
  • Microsoft SharePoint certified preferred.
  • PLM experience highly desirable.
  • Must have excellent process understanding/experience.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Self-motivated requiring little direction.
