The Mill/Turn Manufacturing Process is the core turning class designed to convey concepts, functionality, and application of the turning module. Turning Manufacturing Process is taught from the perspective of an NC/CNC programming session and emphasizes programming concepts and techniques which take advantage of the latest developments in turning equipment and technology.

Lathe operation types
2 – Operation Navigator –Cam Tool Bars, Resource Tool Bar, Cam Navigators.
3 – Tooling – All Tooling Types Lathe, Holders, Tracking Points.
4 – Lathe Geometry – Preparing Lathe Geometry, (Work piece, Avoidance and Containment) Auotomated & Manual cross section.
5 – Face Turning – Cut Strategy, Path Settings, Cutting Parameters, Non-Cutting Moves, Feeds Speeds.
6 – Rough Turning – Material Detection, Step over, Clean up, Reversal mode, Local Returns.
7 – Lathe Finish – Cut strategy, Chase passes, and Cut parameters for finish passes.
8 – Teach mode – Linear Moves, Engage Moves, Rapid Moves, Feed rates, Machine Control options.
9 – Center Line Drilling – Drilling Cycles, Start point end point.
10 – Threading – Root line Crest line, Pass control.
